Omkar Nisal is CEO of Wipro’s Europe strategic market unit and a member of the Wipro Executive Board. He is also the Non-Executive Chair for Wipro Financial Outsourcing Services Ltd, a regulated entity established in the UK with the specific objective of servicing insurance and wealth management firms.

In his role as CEO of Europe, Omkar leads the strategic direction of Wipro’s business and innovation initiatives in this market, which includes the United Kingdom & Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, as well as Western Europe.

With nearly 30 years in the industry, Omkar has a track record of building high-performing teams that deliver on clients’ most ambitious goals. He has worked with clients across all industries and sectors, empowering them to achieve large-scale transformation and unlock new venues of growth.

Since joining Wipro in 2012, Omkar has held a variety of leadership roles across the company. Most recently, Omkar lead Wipro’s UK&I business, where he successfully scaled the business across industry sectors in the region. Previously, he ran Wipro's Banking business for the EMEA region, where he worked with financial services clients to drive accelerated business transformation with a focus on customer journey, enterprise engineering, and date-driven automation.

Omkar graduated first class with Honors in Computer Science and completed an executive leadership program on Leading Global Businesses from Harvard Business School, Boston.

Based in London, Omkar enjoys strength training, swimming, and watching movies with family in his spare time.
